anyone else having problems with notifications for people you’re following? i thought it was just a one-off (see the ask reblog below) but now it’s happening with another blog that i’m following where a notification for a new post will pop up but when i click through it says the post has been deleted?? the posts show up on dashboard, but they won’t show up on the actual blog itself (on both app and desktop)

Y’all can’t say capitalism isn’t evil. The reason why all these food outbreaks are happening is because Trump lowered the FDA restrictions for food safety and all the companies rushed to not do shit to keep food safe. You can’t divorce all these food recalls from the fact that they will cut cornor sand make everyone sick if there wasn’t government laws saying otherwise.

It’s really easy to conflate incompetence with a political system.

Just as easy to conflate it with capitalism as communism, or any other.

Like Trump removing Obama era red tape wasn’t incompetence it was explicitly done to benefit companies. Trump says this repeatedly and it did. Without the restricts and regulations, companies cut safety corners legally with this as the results. It’s not incompetence but a very clear line drawn between less regulations for corporations leading to more safety risks for consumers. like this is a very bold line that has been known since the industrial revolution, corporations will do anything to cut production costs and increase profits even if it’s bad for workers and consumers. They have to be forced to do safety procedures and when they aren’t forced to do it, they won’t as seen here.

Okay, maybe I need help..

I am so sorry, I’m way behind on commissions, and I have been behind for a while. Things just keep coming up. I was already trying to catch up when I had to attend my granddad’s funeral in October, and then afterwards my tablet broke down, then it was followed up with a worse episode of depression, even for me, and now .. I’m dealing with kidney stones and can hardly think beyond the pain, let alone sit up, much less work…

I don’t make a large paycheck, and I’d already been trying to catch up for lost money in the first place. And .. I’m at the point where I might have to own up that I can’t spring back fast enough to work and make ends meet.
